Memory Pit - A new DSi exploit for DSi camera!

Memory Pit is a new DSi exploit in the DSi camera!
Using it is very simple:
1) Download the attached file and put it in sd:/private/ds/app/484E494A
2) Put the hbmenu.nds file on the root named boot.nds (can't be unlaunch, it won't work. Unlaunch can be booted via hbmenu however)
3) open DSi camera, tap SD card at the top, and tap album
4) Done!

With the recent releases of DSi exploits like unlaunch, frogminer and Memory Pit it's time to sort the information.
Let's start with the easy things.

DS vs DSi mode

We have to differentiate between two modes of the DSi: the DS mode and the DSi mode. Is there a reason to upgrade from Lameboy to GameYob?

I've been hearing that GameYob is really good, I've been using Lameboy but since I don't play .gb/.gbc tgames on teh NDS almost at all, is there a reason to upgrade?

I've only read that GameYob is trying to implement the Pikachu voices In PY in an old thread from 2013, does that mean that Lameboy doesn't have perfect emulation of all games? I thought it did.

Is there a list of which games don't work perfectly in Lameboy but do in GameYob? Right now I'm mostly interested in RPGs,...

Is there a reason to upgrade from Lameboy to GameYob?

so over the past couple of days ive been working on reverse engineering firmware.nds to understand how it worked. i didnt expect to make any progress, but somehow i managed to figure out exactly how it works.

ive managed to develop a single tool that automatically converts a firmware.bin file into a firmware.nds with no user interaction other than dragging the bin file onto the exe

TwilightMenu Without HiyaCFW?

Recently put Unlaunch, HiyaCFW, TWiLightMenu++ on my DSiXL. I'm using a 16GB card so I get the "error occurred" text when I try to boot into the normal menu, but I would like to know if it is possible to remove HiyaCFW, but keep TwilightMenu. Reason for this is, whenever I soft reset any game (L+R+Start+Select) it goes back to the error dialog or freezes, so I would just like to go back to using my R4 for most DS games, but keep TwilightMenu for the games that take advantage of DSi mode, as...

i have hbmenu (NO CASH UNLAUNCH.DSI V1.8) on my dsi. can anyone tell me how to remove unluanch menu??? I want to restore to menu. is it possible to format system memory to remove it? please tell me asap i using dsi daily. i have errors "Clusters too small" i do not put HIyaCFW.

This is a very simple tool. It can uninstall Unlaunch in just a few seconds, all you need is a decrypted NAND image! This tool has an untested feature that will install Sudoku+Sudokuhax. i have my project linked (there are 2 images, one in the data folder and one in the source folder: the one in the data folder is unused)

Could someone confirm if IkuReader can be used on DSi without a flashcart?

I'm looking at getting a DSi to replace a failing DS flashcart, and not have to get a flashcart again in the future because they don't seem to last.

IkuReader is something I would need working for that to be worth it. I've heard some DS homebrew works on a soft modded DSi, and some doesn't.

Could someone with a soft modded DSi please confirm whether or not IkuReader https://gbatemp.net/download/ikureader.24635/ works without having to use a flashcart?

Cant play locally with DSi as host and 2DS as client on Twilight Menu and NDS Bootstrap

I recently homebrewed my DSi. I installed Twilight menu ++.
I wanted to play Mario Kart DS with my brother who has a 2DS. We started the DS Download play on the 2DS and created a group on Mario Kart.
But when the Nintendo logo appears on the screen of the 2DS, it freezes.
Then, the connection stops with an error in the DSi.
The 2DS stays freezed until i restart it.
I dont know what the problem is. I tried with other games...

Hello, I'm writing because I'm completely at a loss for what the issue is with Twilight Menu and cheat codes. I'm using the absolute latest stable versions of nds bootstrap, twilight menu, and twilight updater ,etc. I've downloaded the latest cheat usr file through twilight updater as well. I'm able to use cheats just fine, I can confirm they work on multiple games. The issue I'm having though, is that when using any theme for twilight menu except Acekard, when toggling on certain cheats...

So I homebrewed my DSI XL with homebrew, TWmenu++, unlaunch, and GBARunner2. But when i load a game in GBArunner2 it does the iconic gameboy ding but then it's just a white screen, What do I need to do to get games to run?
