As the first DS homebrew, me and elhobbs have improved the DsDoom! :D

Now to answer the obvious question, does it have MUSIC?
Yes HORRAY! Many thanks to elhobbs for making musplay.c examples and quite a few other stuff!

This update (v1.4) has brought a few new things and options

DSi - Downgrading 1.4.5E to 1.4E help!

I want to downgrade my dsi to 1.4E... And yes, I have flipnote studio (glad I do)... So, I need to downgrade my DSi because my R4i 1.4 just won't let me upgrade in ANY way! So... if I downgrade with ugopwn on my european console, will it brick? Or, at least, can I install cfw on my european console, one site says (usa only) and one site (which is simillar) doesnt say (usa only) at all! Will cfw or downgrading brick my European console?

ive been trying to figure out how to add homebrew things to launcher for a few hours now and i cant figure it out. would someone mind explaining how to properly patch the SRL/generate the TMD?

im running hiyacfw with unlaunch

DSi SRloader HELP

I want to load DS games to my SRloader, BUT everytime I boot a DS game, it just shows the loading LED light and a white screen! I know I need sudokuhax but I don't want to download a torrent client to install sudoku for DSi!

Any help would be appriciated

Hello everyone,

I followed this guide online: dsi.cfw.guide
I successfully installed Unlaunch and I followed the steps to instal HiyaCFW. When I boot up for the first time I get a settings screen but after that both screens are white.
I tried Unlaunch 0.8 & 0.9 both without success. I am using a 2 gb card formatted FAT32 (I tried FAT as well).

Can someone help me?

I have an R4i 1.4 (which is a clone and won't update, no matter what)
And I want to play it on my 1.4.5 dsi!
So I downloaded SRloader (exploit is flipnote lenny)
And it only boots GB(C) and NES rom's! So I somehow managed to download the DS original bios as an .nds file...
No suprise, nothing popped up! Not only that but whenever I go to pictochat, settings etc. it freezes!
So I thought "I'm stupid, this would never work"
I choosed to downgrade the DSi whitelist (Before you say anything,...

So I followed this tutorial

but when I executed install-1.4-EUR.nfs , it said: 2 wrong 0 missing meaning that the files weren't in place BUT they WERE!

Not only that, but I followed the instructions PERFECTLY!

I know downgrading is dangerous but... just help me! I can't install cfw because OSFmount won't let me mount drives and stuff!

Even if my console bricks... it'll be MY console that bricked, not yours!

ANY help would be appriciated!...

Hey, it's been awhile since I done something.
I started this awhile back then quit since I couldn't fix a way to display an image on the bottom screen. Finally fixed that issue and now I'm ready to release this small pranking app.

This is just a DSi homebrew app that can display an image. (Strictly the DSi Stage2 Bootloader error you see if you messed something up with the launcher)
This app doesn't cause harm to your DSi in anyway.

Big thanks to Gericom and Pokemod97 for the help setting...

Man, I deeply love this game and I didn't know it actually came out on Feb this year. So badass. Too bad GBA version can't do that. At least they have MMBN6 hack. Anyway enough sidetrack about that. I am using this emulator by WinDSPRO. Version is 0.9.12. They added up with this. Git#c128460 x64-JIT SSE2. This emulator work perfectly fine until I found hidden subway and after Mayl watching Lan gone, emulator crashed and shut it down by itself. I tried again and happen again....

(Before you comment "Ohh, No$GBA has DSi support", it's still very early in development and every game I tried didn't work)

So, is there finally a proper DSi(Ware) Emulator out now? It has been a while since this was picked up.

I grabbed my US DSi XL on 1.4.4U yesterday and started to install Hiya, following this well know guide: https://dsi.cfw.guide/installing-unlaunch

I already backupped my NAND, and i'am now at point 13:

Hold (A) while powering on your system, to verify Unlaunch installed properly
  • You should briefly see the Unlaunch screen, and boot into a version of the DSi Menu with no sound
  • If you are on a firmware greater than 1.4, it is highly likely you...

i tried installing hiyacfw before but i used the wrong guide as it turns out and i just ended up giving up with unlaunch on my dsi but today when i tried giving it another go i couldnt as my pc broke down and i am only stuck on a chromebook if anyone can help me plz reply and i finished the old guide but only to the part after installing unlaunch thx for helping in advance

Just a friendly question, since we now have to the SD without the mini paypoad [those who have hiya], is anyone working on on porting the Emulators like:

  • SnesDS
  • SneMulDS
  • Jenesis DS
  • GameYob
Among the others, as .tia or decrypted content? O: so we can install them to the menu and have access to the sd?

Since i remember testing all the emulators via robz8 srloaders, but they did not run, some got stuck on Fat Initialization among other errors.

Launching/Converting .nds format DSiWare?

I've been trying to figure out if it's possible to launch .nds format DSiWare through DSiMenu++ and hiyaCFW. dsi.cfw.guide has instructions for dumping DSiWare from a 3DS, but I'm trying to do this for software that's no longer available on the 3DS store.

The two things I've tried so far:
  • Just launching the .nds files like they were any other DS game. This just gives a white screen and hard crashes the DSi....

I have Unlaunch 0.9 installed but i still get the same thing. Here's how it goes: I launch Sudokuhax then boot to hbmenu. From there i launch DSiMenu++. Then navigate to the directory with my dsiware. I click on my dsiware and then it asks me to "Please press and hold the X button. Hold it on the black screen for 2 seconds." So I hold the x button but I soon figure out that it just hangs on a black screen. Any help would be Amazing!
